The FJD Trion P2 LiDAR Scanner is a handheld / portable LiDAR scanner designed for rapid 3-D scanning, point-cloud generation, and mapping of environments — both indoor and outdoor. It’s suitable for applications such as surveying, construction, architecture, infrastructure inspection, forensic documentation, BIM/ CAD model creation, and terrain / environment mapping.
Key Features of FJD Trion P2 LiDAR Scanner
-
High-Speed LiDAR Scanning: up to 200,000 points per second.
-
Wide Field of View: 360° horizontal × 59° vertical scan coverage.
-
Good Range: up to 40 m at 10% reflectivity, 70 m at 80% reflectivity.
-
Real-Time Point Cloud & Colorization: Built-in cameras (2 MP front + 2 × 12 MP side cameras) allow generation of true-color point clouds in real time.
-
“HyperDense+” Mode: Capable of delivering very dense point clouds (5–7× more dense), improving detail and color-texture quality.
-
Portable & Lightweight: Dimensions ~ 110 × 106 × 280 mm; base weight ~ 700 g (without battery / extras).
-
On-device Processing & Storage: Built-in storage (512 GB, expandable to 1 TB), supporting real-time point cloud preview and immediate data output.
-
Flexible Output Formats: Exports in common point-cloud formats (.las / .ply / .pts / .e57) for easy integration with CAD, BIM or GIS tools.
-
GNSS / RTK Support: Optionally integrates GNSS / RTK for georeferenced scans with high horizontal/vertical accuracy (e.g. H: ~8 mm + 1 ppm, V: ~15 mm + 1 ppm).
Applications
-
3-D environmental mapping (indoor & outdoor) — buildings, tunnels, infrastructure, roads.
-
Construction, renovation, and BIM modeling — producing accurate point-clouds for CAD/BIM workflows.
-
Terrain & civil engineering mapping — topography, as-built surveys, site documentation.
-
Asset inspection & facility management — scanning complex structures, industrial sites.
-
Forensic, heritage, and documentation work — fast capture of spaces for archival, analysis, or compliance.
