Continuous Flow Filterless Centrifuge – High-Speed Mineral Filler Recovery System
The Continuous Flow Filterless Centrifuge is a high-speed, lab-grade separation system engineered for the efficient recovery of mineral filler fines from binder solutions, specifically during asphalt mix extraction tests. Unlike conventional filter-based systems, this centrifuge uses a filter-free centrifugal method, delivering faster and cleaner results with minimal manual handling.
The system separates suspended solids such as cement, soil, clay, and mineral fillers from nonflammable solvent mixtures by spinning the sample at 11,500 rpm inside a rotating aluminum test container (70×200 mm). The centrifugal force pushes the liquid upward while retaining solid particles at the base. It includes two sieves (2 mm and 0.063 mm mesh) to ensure proper separation and classification.
Compliant with ASTM D1856 and EN 12697-1 standards, the centrifuge supports up to 100g of filler recovery per test, making it ideal for asphalt labs, chemical processing, and mineral testing applications.
